On December 11, 1994 (at approx 1pm) Fred and I were married. The ceremony was held in Ft. Lauderdale at the Rolling Hills Country Club. Inside the glass gazebo we stood with our family and friends. It was beautiful.
The moment in the ceremony that stands out clearly was when Fred was putting the wedding ring on my finger. It wouldn't slide past my knuckle. I told him, quietly, push. The rabbi heard this and said, "You see it's true...she is already telling him what to do." Everyone burst out laughing.
13 years later we have a home, family, and life that we never dreamed of. Many did not expect us to last. Those people are divorced, I am sorry to say. Fred and I remain strong and happy.
Fred and I are going to Amura for lunch today. Sushi for anniversary. That is a great gift! (No, really! Sushi rocks!)
