Fred is wonderful. Being the husband of a teacher he gets roped into everything from field trip chaperon to "The Science Guy" to talking about flying on career day. It's one thing to talk to a room filled with 10-11 year old, but what if your audience is a class of 4 year olds! Oh my!
Geared up with headsets, maps,GPS devices, pictures, and a radio he ventured to Ellie's school for Career Day in Ms. Jacqui's room.
I told him that the attention span of a 4 year old is just under 5 minutes completely different from the 30-35 minute span of a 5th grader. Ellie's classmates did not disappoint him with their excitement and enthusiasm.
They asked questions and even hoped he would leave his cool headsets for the classroom! Uh, how about an ABC book about airplanes? They happily accepted his gift.
