Ellie Plays Her Violin

We have completely abandoned television after 8:30am. Ellie was quoting H*nnah M*ntanna and it was just disturbing. So we explained to her the situation and she understood. So we are back to a quiet (except for our traditional chamber music quietly playing on the stereo)house after school. Ellie plays her violin, works on her kindergarten word skills and works on her computer.

Shhhh! Don't tell Ellie but Fred just ordered Ellie a laptop for her birthday! We can't wait for her to open it. She needs a better on with more speed due to the sophistication of her educational software. That will be the best! She does not need toys or clothes so we are sticking with books, software, and arty things.

Saturday morning we are taking Ellie to the Picture People for her 5 year old photographs. I am taking the girls out this morning to find a couple of outfits. The big decision I have is: Do I leave her hair down or pull it back in a braid. I am going to bring her violin to have another portrait taken of her with her instrument.
I can't wait! She is so photogenic!
