Today we took Ellie and Sagan to Picture People at the Mall at Millenia for some new portraits. Ellie turns 5 in April so I needed birthday photos and we brought Sagan along for the ride hoping to get her to cooperate for one.
Well we got lots. Lots and lots. Here are just a few of the photos they took.
It has been one week since the Joshua Bell concert. That was such an exciting night. Not so much for the concert part, but simply the going out for several hours with a babysitter at the house! We were like single adults!
This week it is back to the same old routine (which I like just as much) for our Saturday night. Ellie and I open up the new futon in the living room for a slumber party. We watch a movie of her choice, tonight it is R*tattouille (a favorite of mine, "You have a rash?") Sagan is sleeping in her crib and Fred with Cessna/Uma in our bed. One small downside of having these Saturday night slumber parties is that Ellie talks in her sleep. LOUD! She even laughs and giggles in her sleep. So I will not get a great night sleep, but get the pleasure of having some special time
Next we have Ellie's violin practice from March 29. The violin is in tune its just the metal strings are giving the A string a really bad sound. The true sound of a violin will come with a better violin with non-metal strings in a few years. So please excuse the grating.
