A Friend Joined My Team

Today I received a phone call from a dear friend Rossy. She interviewed for a position at my school and was called today for approval/start date. It gets so much better.

Not only is she at my school now, but she is on my team!

It goes beyond the "friend" thing.

When Fred was not well enough to go to China with me to pick up Ellie we had decided that I would go alone. A few days later we were eating dinner with Rossy's family (2 of her 3 girls were in my 5th grade class) and we told them that I was going alone. Rossy jumped up and exclaimed, "What???" Then asked or well announced that she was going to China with me! I was stunned. It easily would cost $3000.00 for her to go to China with me. It was crazy. But she went and it was beyond wonderful to have her. She made China so much fun and she kept me sane.

About two months ago she called me and asked about teaching with my school I was totally floored. For two years I told her that this was her gig. She was made to teach here. Now she wanted it.

Today she got the call and she is one of us!

I am beyond happy for her. She will really shine here!
