My Mother Yelled At Me Today!

My mother has been gone 2 years now. No, I have not been drinking in the afternoon.

Fred, Ellie, Sagan, Shelby, and I went to a water park today. After an hour of playing we changed and off to Macaroni Grill for dinner. Yummy!

We were all inhaling their wonderfully aromatic bread when Ellie decided to remove the inside of her piece, roll it around in her hands to form a ball, and then pop it into her mouth.

I do not like my girls playing with their food. Big pet peeve!

So I correct Ellie. Fred looks at me and defends her that all kids do that. I retort and tell him that it is inappropriate restuarant behavior.

Just then, over the radio, came a song by Charles Aznavour! A French singer in an Italian restaurant! So not likely. So I pause and smile. My mother loved Charles Aznavour. I am sure it was my mother sending a message from where she is to tell me to stop picking on her granddaughter. Fred concurs!

I honestly believe that my mother (as well as other relatives) can communicate with me through the right person. I have a woman, Judith, who after having her number on file for a couple of years I finally contacted last November. Why? I needed to talk to my mother. While my grandmother (The grandmother I am named for)and Fred's mother came through the strongest I was able to communicate with her just enough to calm dowm. Two months later I wanted to talk with her again, just because, and not only did I speak with my mother, grandmother, and Fred's mother but also my Aunt Grace. She helped me know what was going on with Tegan, my cousins lovely daughter.

On Tuesday, April 22, I had another reading with Judith to speak with my mother on the two year anniversary of her passing. How odd? That I can "call" my mother whenever I want to. Yes, I can! There are things that Judith says that she cannot possibly know. It blows my mind. This time the first thing that my mother said was, "You need to do more things for yourself and stop catering to everyone else."

Fred and I had this SAME DISCUSSION on the Disney Cruise three days before! I know I do so much for everyone else and that I find it difficult to do anything for myself. I feel guilty. Fred wants to get me a t-shirt that says, "Marytr." Nice eh!
