Say Goodbye to Precious

This morning Fred and I have decided that we will be selling our precious 4Runner! We talked about it last December, but did not move through with it. Sagan was coming and we did not know if 2 cars was a necessity.

So today I rushed a freshly detailed car down to CarMax by the airport to get it appraised.

It appraised INCREDIBLY WELL! We are only a little upside down on the loan. It will only take a few months to recover that money. We will try to go as long as we can without a second car. We both work from home so there should not be a problem.

Fred rented a Toyota Prius in California for a recent business trip. I did that on purpose...a 5 day test drive so to speak. He likes it a lot. It's pretty beefy and the gas mileage is on the money.

So perhaps a Prius is in our near future. I forsee a new car by December depending on the economy. I told Fred if we have to rent a car for a week here and there it is still better then paying for the truck and 400.00 a month in gas.

Times are changing. We are rolling with it.
