Donating Blood! Let the bloodletting begin!

While I ordinarily do not like needles or the sight of my own blood over the past few years I have made a habit of donating blood every 3 months. The phlebotomists at the Central Florida Blood bank love it when I come. I have a preferred phlebotomist, Marta, and she just smiles and shakes her head when I come in. She knows there is a screamer in the house! Not really a scream but a yelp! This particular day was good because my blood was free flowing and quite fast. Usually is takes forever to fill the pint but today it was about 20 minutes. Thank goodness.

On this day I saved three lives. Just an hour of my time. Easy!
