Fred and His Toys

I love my husband, but he is so into gadgets. His "toys" if you will.
Last month he bought an Amaz*n Kindle. He read so much that as much as it was a "toy" it will help eliminate the piles and piles of read books in our bedroom. It's really a nice gadget. I asked if he would purchase one of my romance novels that I wanted to reread (But did not want to pay the 8.00 for a novel). It was only 4.00 if I read it on the Kindle. It was just fine. I read it and told Fred when the next "new Kindle" comes out I will take his old one.

The Kindle works like a cell phone in that the MINUTE I was to read a certain book, as long as it is available on the Kindle, it is transmitted like a cell signal to the Kindle. So within 5 minutes of me asking Fred to order it the book was there! Nifty!

The next toy I would like to tell you about it the Iphone by Appl*.

Last July our cell phone company ran a special and I bought 2 new phones. The Spring Intui*n. It was super nice. Just like the Iphone but less expensive. Some better features too!
This past Saturday night when Fred and I went to the mall on a "date" he went to the Apple store when I was shopping for suits. When I came back his face was alight and it was because of the Iphone. He told me he would like this one better because of the applications. So I told him I would sell our phones on Ebay (my company is giving me a phone so my phone would just go unused anyway) and he can buy his phone.

I listed our phones together on Ebay this morning at a very competitive price and they sold in 4 hours. HOORAY! Three hours later Fred took Ellie to Apple and bought his phone. He is a happy camper.
