Explaining About Babies

While at lunch yesterday Pauline and I learned that a friend of the family is expecting. We chatted about it without thinking that Ellie was paying any attention. She was and began firing questions at me.

At home last night as the questions kept coming I decided to give her a lesson in biology.



I showed Ellie a picture of a baby in the early stages of gestation. It was a simple cell in full mitosis. I explained in simple words and she understood.

Fred says that he KNOWS what the next question will be from Bella regarding babies.

"Mommy, where do babies come from?"
