The Hollyman's, very close friends of ours, have a family member in the hospital here in Orlando. Chris' mom, a.k.a. Grandma Nancy, had open heart surgery yesterday. All went well, thank goodness.

Chris flew down from Branson, Missouri where the family lives to be by his mom's side and to help out. I was able to visit Nancy on Thursday evening also seeking Chris and Grandpa George. It was a very nice visit.

Prior to going downtown to the hospital I gathered things to bring with me. Some magazines, bottles of water, snacks for the guys, and 2 pictures for Grandma Nancy drawn by Ellie and Sagan.

As they were taking Nancy into pre-op she made a point to tell Chris to remember to get the pictures from her room (They change the room after heart surgery) as she didn't want to lose them. She was quite insistent I am told. How sweet!

Smart thing...Fred scanned them just in case. We have copies on the computer.

The girls did a lovely job. Grandma Nancy loves them very much.
