A Weekend on FB

Yes, I did play on FB all weekend. Hence no blogging.

I like to share pics of Ellie's softball with the group and then I just kept on FBing through 7pm Sunday night. It's horribly addictive and personally I find it too distracting. If I shut it off then I am more likely to throw myself into work or play with the girls.

We had a lovely weekend. We were supposed to go to Palm Beach but Ellie had an upset stomach and so we didn't get to go. She was able to play softball on Saturday morning which made her happy.

Ellie overdosed Thursday night on Kettle Corn. Her stomach couldn't handle all the roughage. She was being scrubbed clean from the inside out. Thursday night she slept in our bed so she could make it to the bathroom in nothing flat without having to climb down the ladder. Poor Bella.

Saturday afternoon Fred took the girls swimming at the YMCA so I could go shopping at the mall. Ann Taylor was running a sale. I bought 2 more pairs of these nice cargo capris. I want to buy sundresses but I just cant get it right. I have a very curvy figure with too much on top and a narrow waist. So the large is too large and the medium is indecent up top. It's sad.

We had a picnic out back on Saturday night with the girls. They loved it. It was 92 degrees outside so I was not happy. The back of our house has western exposure. It was oppressive but the smiles on the girls faces as we ate was priceless.

Sunday was a lovely day. I went for a walk with my cousin Elizabeth early in Celebration. Then we sat and talked at a Starbucks. I love it. Girlfriend talk was heartwarming. I miss it when things get really busy. She is really easy to talk to and she is a great person. :-)

I took Ellie and Sagan bowling in the early afternoon and then to ice cream. Sundays are "Sunday Ice Cream With Mommy" days. We do something fun, get ice cream and then run errands. Ellie wants miniature golf next time. Sagan, wielding an iron in the air. Someone is going to the ER. We shall see who it is.
