Thank goodness its over. I was incredibly nervous and was unsure if Ellie or I would suddenly become emotional when it was time. I can only go by what our last experiences were. I cried both times but she was very young and they had to sedate her completely.
Today was a little Valium cocktail. Worked great. Only now she is a little loopy. She is sitting on the couch eating Wheat Thins. This is the first thing she has been allowed to eat since 10am this morning. So hopefully filling her stomach will help her balance the meds.
