My Addiction: House, M.D.

A few weeks ago I had difficulty sleeping and opted to turn the TV on for a little while in the hopes of being bored to sleep. We don't watch TV all that much in the house. I am not a fan of doctor shows but I love English Period films. Hugh Laurie, who is British, is in many of my favorite movies. My favorite is Sense and Sensibility where he played Mr. Palmer. Loved that character.

Additionally, he is the father in a great movie that we showed in 4th grade. Stuart Little is an amazing novel. Hollywood made it into a cute movie. Hugh plays the father.

So I now enjoy working and listening to each 43 minute episode. It's all fun!

So when I turned the television on to see Hugh Laurie I was immediately entranced. Ohhh! But he is talking in an American accent! No British accent! I was sucked in. It was fun to watch. Then I asked Fred to bring in Season 1 (there are 6 seasons) so I can catch up on the show.

I have been working on the computer with my ear buds in listening to each 43 minute episode.
