Do You Clean Your House Before Leaving on Vacation?

I read somewhere, some time ago that, "One should clean their house before going on vacation so that upon your return you feel as if you are walking into another hotel."

One should be sure that the house is perfectly clean and tidy. That fresh towels are placed on the back of the potty. That sample soaps and conditioners could also be placed on the vanity to make it "Feel" as if you still remained on vacation.

While I do not go to excess in my cleaning endeavors I do make sure the house is very tidy. Laundry is done and put away, kitchen and bathrooms are tidy, and so on.

Am I the only one?
