Sagan's 3 Year Old Checkup

We ventured out today after a lazy morning for Sagan's three year old check up. Mind you she has been 3 since November. With Ellie we were right on time with well child check ups. Second child syndrome. LOL!

Sagan's Stats:

28 3/4 Lbs
36 1/2 inches tall


She is in the 10% stats for weight and 20% for height. She is Asian and those stats are for American children. So I don't pay attention too much.

Sagan answered all of Dr. Gordon's questions clearly and with great detail.She is very very chatty.

Sagan knew she was a girl. That she was three. That Ellie is older.



She could jump up and down. She could jump on one foot quite skillfully. Dr. Gordon was very impressed.

He encouraged swim lessons (already on the go for the summer) and possibly sports. Sagan is a princess so maybe dance lessons. I can't see her playing t-ball yet.

In this picture just below, Dr. Gordon, is explaining why Sagan must work hard at ending her very bad habit. Thumbsucking. This is the second lecture (Dr. Rothschild (Dentist) and now Dr. Gordon) she has received this week about giving up the habit. She is trying and there is a brand new Sparkling Snow White that she picked out sitting in its box waiting for Sagan to go 4 nights without sucking her thumb (wearing her night night mitten).



Alas, after all of this great news of her health it was necessary to get a Hep A and Hep B shot. Sagan was so brave! She didn't cry until AFTER the band aid was put on her arm. No tears really. Just a bit of fuss till I asked if she wanted her lollipop now or later. NOW! Please. Thought so!

She got to pick where we were going to lunch. She wanted a Happy Meal because of the How To Train Your Dragon toy. We had a lovely lunch at our way fancy Bistro McDonalds.



We were supposed to take them bowling but Sagans arm hurt terribly so now she is laying on the couch and watching Snow White. She was very brave and now just needs to vegetate on the couch.

Fred said that she slept 2.5 hours on the couch. Without a doubt the shots exhausted her.

Ellie and I are off to meet Elizabeth and Emily for some bowling!
