Today is a Sunny Sagan Day!

Last night Sagan slept about 8 hours total. She woke up at 3:30am and she had a snack/water. At 6am the day began. I settled Fred, Ellie and Sagan at breakfast about 6:15am. I jumped into the shower and hoped to get some make up on today.

The screaming began about 6:45am when Sagan had her fill of breakfast. I put her back in bed for about 20 minutes. She was not tired. I took her out and let her walk around screaming. Yes, no stop screaming. Ellie and I went to play Kenex. I decided to give her my cell phone and see if she would enjoy looking at that. She stopped crying. It was like angels singing. WOW. I called Fred, who was out at Toyota, and shared this news. She was quiet. Happy. This was about 7:40am.

By 8am she had called three people on my cell phone so I HAD to take it away. We took out a tub of musical toddler toys and she began to laugh, clap and sway. Ohhhhh. Ok, this is interesting. I was able to get her dressed and out the door for Ellie to go to school.

Upon getting Sagan home she began to play, smile, and interact with Fred. She would seek him out and smile at him. For nearly 3 hours she was having fun. She ate lunch and with a little fuss went down for a nap about 11:45am.

We hope this continues. This Sagan is wonderful and sweet. Please let it last!
