We are LID 6/15/2006 for China!

We just got a call from Maryanne at WHFC. She wanted to let us know that a new program is being implemented by the CCAA. They are allowing families who complete concurrent adoptions and have a 1 year space between referral of the concurrent adoption and referral of a China girl.


In a nutshell....

We get to keep our dossier in China and our LID of June 15,2006.

Maryanne just called and China is allowing parent who may have completed concurrent adoptions.

We would need to reapply to WHFC and do an updated dossier but we could keep our LID. Right now the wait is 26 months and still growing.

We do not have to decide for 3-4 months. So there is time to decide. We keep our LID for now.

WOW! How exciting!!! Fred and I are over the moon!
