How is the Adoption Coming Along?

Ellie loves ice cream! This is cookies n cream. She was torn between the sherbet and ice cream but the girls share so beautifully that everyone left happy!

Well we have hit a small snag. No big deal just a small snag.

We are compiling all of the documents that are necessary for the adoption. This is easy. I have done it 2x before. We are about 50% there.

The homestudy agency that we went with for Ellie and Sagan was bought out by another agency. The prices we paid for the past two homestudy's has now more then doubled! I don't think so.

While it would have been nice to work with our social worker, Jane, why would we spend $2,000 more for this? That's just too much!

So we are waiting till Tuesday to contact our adoption agency in Boston to get a list of Homestudy agencies here in Orlando.

It does not delay us that much. Just a few weeks. With a third daughter the pressure is not on like it was with Ellie or Sagan. It's a leisurely pace to say the least.
