When we first decided to adopt (2002) there were signs pointing us to China. Well, there were suddenly Chinese adopted daughters everywhere. It was uncanny. We became very attuned. It became a game of sorts as we would walk through Disney or wherever. Fred or I would indicate..."Look, adopted daughter." We still do it today.
So over the last 10 days I have been seeing signs again, but not for China.
There was a commercial for a "adopt a child in a third world country" and they were in Ethiopia. I believe so much in this "sign" business that I had to shake my head. Then over the last few days as I worked on the computer the little adds that appear on the right side of the news on Cnn.c*m. Ethiopia again.
I have a reading with Judith on Wednesday and I will talk to her about this.
Remember that after 12 months of waiting for baby #2 we applied for Ethiopia for a 18m-2.5 year old girl. That turned into Korea and Sagan about 3 months later.
I have several blogs that I love to read. It was great to read about other families who were adopting from Ethiopia while we were waiting.
