A Little Girl and Her Kitten

About 6 months ago we lost, Nala, our cat of 14 years. She was such a sweet cat that I never thought we would be able to recover. Ellie still talks about the night that mommy couldn't stop crying. Then it was 9 days later that we brought Uma home from an Orlando cat rescue organization. I picked her myself as she was/is identical to Nala. We never dreamed that Uma would be as wonderful a kitten as she is.

The bond that she has with Ellie runs deep and strong. She gravitates toward Ellie and enjoys playing with her. What we love the most is the mornings when Ellie wakes up. Uma hears Ellie call for me and goes running into Ellie's room. Uma jumps on Ellie's bed and settles in next to her. Uma begins purring long before Ellie begins petting her.
