Sagan is wonderful. She is developing into such a lovely little lady and we are so lucky to have her. We can see her changing each and every day.
Say-Say is growing fast. She is getting taller and getting heavier day by day. She is thriving in her new environment. It has been nearly 4 months and we are talking about adopting another child. We are thinking about it.
Sagan is maturing and it is a wonder to watch. The tantrums are lessening and the whining is limited. She is understanding more and more. The language is coming and she is using it. Her newest thing is nodding her head and saying, "esss."
Her coordination is really coming along. She climbs just about everything. She can get on and off the dining room chair. She gets on and off Ellie's bed. I am considering using the bunk beds while Fred is away. I think Sagan might be ready for a big girl bed with a bedrail. Ellie and I were talking about it this morning.
Sagan goes 2 mornings a week to a babysitter who has 4 other kids. She loves it now. She cried and cried the first couple of months. Now she runs in and begins to play. She will continue going that babysitter next year but I will add one day to the schedule at Ellie's school. So 2 days sitter and 1 day school. When she turns 2.5 she will go to school more and the sitter less. You know me! It's all about school. Poor bean is the daughter of a teacher!
One of my favorite things that Sagan does is that she knows that when the CD brings up the Hannah Montana theme song, "Best of Both Worlds," she runs into the room from wherever she is to dance. Not just dance, but dancing wildly. I will have to upload a video. It's hysterical!
One final note, while early on she was a challenge Sagan has come through beautifully. I am so pleased at her progress. Her smiles are enchanting and the things that she does that are silly and sweet give me the greatest pleasure.
We love her so very much. So does Ellie. It's a lovely life.
